Be Not Dismayed

Scripture: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Have you been in need of some encouragement? As if life has given you the short end of the stick. Do you feel that you are constantly dealing with loss, hurt, pain, disappointment, or negativity? There are so many people who say that they are ‘getting by’ when in actuality, they are ‘going through’. The silent cries that are covered by the fake smile is familiar to so many. The lies that attempt to persuade loved ones that all is well and everything is alright, becomes common. I just want to encourage you; you are going to get through this. Don’t give up.

There are many who experience panic disorder, sickness, brokenness, and depression. Many have adapted to living out loud and suffering in silence. Settling for a feeling of defeat and lack. Well, my friend, fear not, God is with you, be not dismayed. He is your God. He will strengthen you and help you. He will uphold you with His righteous right hand. You are not alone and you are not the only one going through. Going through is a safe passage that guarantees that you will get out, if you trust God to lead the way. He will never leave you and He will never forsake you. He is still a miracle working God. When you trust Him to lead you, He will see you through. Be not dismayed, God will take care of you.

Prayer: God, we thank you for holding us in your hands. We thank you for being a keeper. God, please heal our bodies. We rebuke depression, anxiety, fear, and panic attacks right now in the name of Jesus. When we feel like we are battling silently, give us the strength to declare your goodness and call on your mighty name. We love you Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen.
