Disconnect Now

Isaiah 43:18- “Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past”

Have you ever dialed a disconnected number and the recording lets you know that the number is “disconnected and no longer in service”? I am sure you checked to see if you dialed the correct number. Some of us, even made multiple attempts because we were not informed otherwise that the number was disconnected.

The same is so in life. God has told you over and over again to disconnect from a thing that is no longer of service to you. Perhaps, the season of a thing has ended or expired. Whether it be a friendship, relationship, or a job. You clearly received instructions from God to disconnect. Yet you continue to check to see if you have the correct information. You find yourself attempting to connect to something or someone. Stay out of that inbox, neighborhood, breakroom, and call log.

I want to encourage you today, forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. Disconnect from those things, people, and places that are not aligned with the assignment that God has for your life. That disconnection is a blessing and yet you continue to allow it to be a distraction by ‘trying again’. You will continue to get the same result because it is no longer in service. Meaning, it is no longer for you! Disconnect Now! God is waiting on you to disconnect so He can give you what belongs to you.

Prayer: In you we live. In you we trust God. We love you and we thank you for giving us the wisdom, strength, and the ability to disconnect from those things that are causing us to be distracted from your Will. Forgive us God, and help us to connect in the Spirit to what you have called us to do. We give you the glory for it all. In Jesus Name. Amen
