Do you believe in miracles?

Luke 1:34-37 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. For no word from God will ever fail.”

Have you ever expected God to move on your behalf for something or someone you have prayed about? You just knew without a shadow of a doubt that the miracle would take place just as you petitioned? Yet, the outcome was different than you expected.

I still believe in miracles. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declare the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”. I believe in miracles because the plans of the Lord are far greater than anything we can ask or think. His word never fails.

If a virgin woman can conceive and birth the Son of God. Surely, God can work miracles. For the word says, no word from God will ever fail. His word is living and active.

Prayer: God, thank you for loving us, even when we get distracted. God even if get discouraged for a moment, your Word gives us hope. If we feel disappointed, God please be a sustainer and a miracle worker. I still believe in miracles. I still believe in the miracle worker and I know that I will never fail. In Jesus Name. Amen.
