God's love is perfect

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

Have you ever felt or dealt with anxiety? We can get so stressed by the weight of anxiety. I can personally tell you that I’ve had my fair share of stressing about anxiety. It was during a time when I studied to learn more and would often overthink myself into an anxiety attack. There are so many people who struggle in this area and so few who fail to talk about it. But we must know that we are not alone.

It’s perfectly okay to ask for help or seek professional attention. Yes, I trust God for healing but I also trust that God can and will use a therapist/doctor to help me heal. And He has and I know that if I’m ever in that place again, He is still capable of doing the same thing.

What if we focused on coming out of it and not being stuck in it? This is how I know that God’s love is perfect. The Bible reminds us to be anxious for nothing. So instead of focusing on anxiety and what we feel as failure to overcome it, what if we learned how to focus on God’s perfect love? The next time you feel anxious, focus on God’s love for you. You can get through this, I am a living witness. I know God to be a healer because I trust His plans and love for me.

Prayer: God, thank you for loving us. Please allow us to fully accept Your perfect love towards us.

Help us to lean on you when anxiety tries to weigh us down. We are strong with the power of Your perfect love. We love you God. In Jesus Name, Amen.
