Great Mercies

Title: Great Mercies

Scripture: Lamentations 3:22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.

Gospel music artist and Pastor Donnie McClurkin ministers powerfully through the song, “Great is Your Mercy”. The song is an awesome worship song, proclaiming the greatness of God’s mercies towards us. “Great is Your mercy towards me. Your love and kindness towards me. Your tender mercy, I see day after day. Forever faithful towards me. Always providing for me. Great is Your mercy towards me. Great is Your grace”. This song is a sweet reminder of God’s faithful love. His never-ending mercies. I am personally grateful for His mercies, being renewed each day.

The end of January 2021, I tested positive for COVID-19. But in the moments of “going through”, I was encouraged knowing that God loved me. The COVID journey was and is an experience I will never forget. However, God reminded me of His promises. His promises are yes and amen. He is a healer, a comforter, peacemaker, confidant, friend, and the great I AM. God is everything and more. God reminded me, that He is still the same God that healed my body before. He reminded me that He is the same God that strengthened so many who felt like giving up. God reminded me that He is in charge. He reminded me of His never-ending mercies. But most of all, He reminded me of His love.

No matter what you may face today, know that God loves you. Your battle may not be COVID-19. Just know that there is no problem too big, too hard, or too much for God. He is able to do anything but fail. I am a testimony and so are you. God loves you and shows it by renewing His mercies every morning. You are a product of mercy. Live like God loves you, because He does. He gives us more when we don’t deserve it. Who wouldn’t serve a God like this?

Prayer: God thank you for the never-ending mercies that you give daily. Thank you for being a healer. We thank you for your love, compassion, and kindness. We love you for who you are, we are nothing without you. Please continue to lead us where you will have us to go. In Jesus Name. Amen.
