He healed me!
Scripture: “O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.” Psalm 30:2 Title: He healed me! Have you ever cried out to the Lord for help? Is “He healed me”, your testimony? Many of our cries are not for help that others can see with their physical eyes. Often, we cry from a place that only our spiritual man recognizes. Others may say they know what you are going through because they have been through it before.
However, I believe situations are similar or familiar but our experiences differ individually. We are all built differently and so we experience things differently, even when it looks the same. It is amazing that our individuality and experiences aren’t a hinderance to the response we receive from God. I am grateful that He loves us enough to know us individually. He knows what we need based on our cry to Him. Your cry may be the result of a physical sickness, mental illness, spiritual famine, brokenhearted, grief, etc. Be encouraged in knowing that God hears you and He will heal you. His plans are better than our plans and His ways are not like ours. If we call Him, He will come see about us.
Your cry for help is not a sign of weakness. Let it be an act of surrender to God. If God has healed you before, surely, He will heal you again. Cry out to Him for help. When others are going through trials and tribulations, encourage them in the Lord. Be empathetic, sympathetic, and compassionate. Your testimony may encourage them to call on the Lord but allow God to get the Glory.
Prayer: God, thank you for knowing all about us. Thank you for being the help that we need. You are our all in all and we love you. Let our lights shine so that others may see you. Help us to recognize that small victories are great defeats. We will forever give you the praise, honor, and glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.
