Just BeYOUtiful

Scripture: Psalm 139:13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well."

Let’s unpack self-esteem issues. Have you ever experienced lack of self-esteem? Have you ever been in a place and thought you weren’t good enough? For some, this affects long term decisions and lifestyles.

Much of what others may see as it relates to us, is not what we see when we look at ourselves. I once suffered from self-esteem issues. I was so busy worrying about what others thought of me that I didn’t take the opportunity to love who I was. During those times, I would be too busy trying to impress other people and not realize that would only depress my situation. The pretend smiles and daily doses of unhappiness became normal. Some days I felt as if I needed the opinion of others to make my beauty feel true. Well, the devil is a liar. I now know Whose I am. For I am aware that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

I encourage you to BeYOUtiful. You are the best person to be who God created you to be. No one can take your identity. They may imitate but they will never appreciate all of the beauty that you possess. You are magnificent. Begin to speak that over your life, “I am magnificent”. You matter and you should praise God because He thought of you when He was creating mankind. You only get one life, love who God created you to be. You are perfectly imperfect. Just BeYOUtiful. Your mistakes are not your identity or destiny.

Prayer: God we thank you for you created our inmost being; you knit us together in our mother’s womb. We praise you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; We know that full well. Help us to know our worth and appreciate our imperfections. We love you God and we lift your name because you are worthy. In Jesus Name.
