Keep God First

Scripture: Psalm 118:24, "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." We are often affected by the choices we make without God. When in actuality we know the importance of putting God first. We neglect that He made the day. We are to rejoice and be glad in it. However, we wake with the same complaints from the day before. We allow the struggles of yesterday to cloud our judgement on decisions we may have to make. Going throughout the day, without a consult with God or a prayer in Jesus Name. If this is the day that the Lord has made (every day is), then I encourage you to start with God. Keep focus through the day and stay with God. When you’ve reached the conclusion of your day, end with God. Much of our issue is we don’t keep Him first and He’s the maker of the day. Make the decision to keep God first in all your days and in all your ways. And remember, this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Today is ALREADY BLESSED. Prayer: God, thank you for your loving kindness. Thank you for grace and mercy. Thank you for being with us even when we fail to put you first. God, help us to lean more on you and not our own understanding. We want to be better for you God. Guide us in your Will and help us to make the right decisions. Thank you for the day, we will rejoice and be glad in it, because we trust the maker. In Jesus Name. Amen
